Brent was hired on staff in September of 2007 while completing the final year of his degree in Communications from Wright State University. As part of the Ministry Arts team, Brent's primary responsibilities are to manage the Ascent band rotation, put the song lyrics together for weekend services, and be the primary drummer for the Centerville campus.

Brent and his wife Krysanna were married in the winter of 2008 and had their first child, Ellie Paige, in November 2011. When not working Brent loves sports, music, following the New York Mets and Detroit Lions and hanging out with his beautiful wife.

Why do you work at Fairhaven?
I work at Fairhaven because it is a place where people are coming to faith in Christ and we have great ministries from birth through senior adults. It is good to be a part of something that is having eternal value.

Your Faith:
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a Christian home and accepted Christ at a young age. I have really been working on my faith day-by- day since Middle School. It is still a daily journey, one that I hope I never get tired of walking on.

Life Passage:
"He gives strength to the weary
   and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
   and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
   will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
   they will run and not grow weary,
   they will walk and not be faint."

Isaiah 40:29-31 ... the hope in this passage is awesome!
