Cathi Turner
Specialist, Finance

Cathi spent 18 years as Secretary-Treasurer of the Southern Ohio Church of God State Headquarters in Lebanon, Ohio, before joining the staff of Fairhaven Church in June of 1996. Her responsibilities are to record and track all income and disbursements in the General Ledger, prepare monthly bank reconciliations and financial statements, process payroll, oversee the recording and reporting of all contributions and accounts payable, and to process and respond to accounting inquiries.

Cathi and her husband, Garry, have been married 36 years and have two adult, married sons: Nathan and Phillip, and three grandsons: Caimanne, Pierce and Kempton, to whom she is known as "Nana." In her free time Cathi enjoys riding motorcycles, especially on long distance, over-the-road trips, watching “period” movies, and shopping for jewelry. Cathi and her husband have also served 22 years in full time ministry at the Stratford Heights Church of God in Middletown, Ohio where Garry is the Pastor of Worship and Arts and Cathi is a choir soloist and member of the Praise Team.

Why do you work at Fairhaven?
I enjoy the positive atmostphere and the fellowship of the staff.  It ‘s great to be part of a growing church that’s impacting the community for Christ.

Your Faith:
I am blessed to have Godly parents who are committed to their faith.  I gave my heart to Christ at age 12.  His unconditional love for me has given me a firm foundation, no matter the circumstance.  He’s as close as mention of His name.
