Christin graduated from Cedarville University in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Multi-Age Special Education. She went on to teach High School Special Education at Northeastern High School before taking the position as Director of Special Needs Ministry at Fairhaven in April of 2008. Christin is passionate about serving people with special needs and their families and creating a safe and effective environment which allows these families to worship God freely without concern for the well-being of their family member.
Christin enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, daughter, Brooklyn (2 yrs) and daughter "on the way". Most of their time is spent traveling to see family in Michigan, Nebraska and Kansas, working on their home, hiking, and enjoying their favorite sports teams together. When enjoying a vacation they can generally be found camping or in the mountains.
Where are you from?
The great state of Michigan (Go BLUE!), but currently residing in Bellbrook.
Why do you work at Fairhaven?
Being able to use my passion of working with people who have special needs in the church setting is amazing!
Your Faith:
I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of 4, but didn't truly begin a passionate relationship with Him until I went to college.
Life Passage:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-6
