Michele McGuire
Director, Kids

Michele and her family have attended Fairhaven for over a decade and in 2006 Michele transitioned from being a full time mom to being a part of the staff of Fairhaven. Michele is currently enrolled in the Ministerial Study program at the Church Leadership Academy and will graduate in 2013. Her responsibilities as part of the KidMix team include recruiting great volunteers to help the ministry run smoothly and putting together Life Group activities. She also runs Zoom, the midweek program for grades K-1, and on Sunday mornings you'll most likely find her running around downstairs – clip board in hand.

Michele and her husband Mike have been married for 14 years and have three kids, three dogs and two cats! Outside of work, Michele loves to read, be outdoors and practice Kuk Sul Do (Korean Martial Arts).

Why do you work at Fairhaven?
I love God and I am obeying Him. I also love kids and teaching them about how much God loves them!

Your Faith:
I did not except Christ until I was 27 and recommitted my life to Him when I was 33. God has been steadily blossoming into who I am today. I am astonished He is able to use me for things I did not know I was capable of doing. He continues to give me the strength, wisdom and knowledge on a daily basis so I am able to serve Him.
