Premarital Ministry

Fairhaven Church is eager to help new marriages through the Premarital Ministry.

The first part is an extensive online assessment followed by discussions led by a trained facilitator who will guide you and your fiancé personally through an interesting and helpful time of discovery about your relationship. This ministry is called Prepare/Enrich, and you access it by contact in the church office (937-434-8627 ext. 155). Times and dates of Prepare/Enrich are negotiable. The cost is $30.

The second part is a two-hour class on Saturday, March 10, from 9:00-11:00 AM. This class will present Biblical/Spiritual Issues in Marriage (led by Pastor Jim Futrell), and Financial Planning Issues in Marriage (led by Ryan Adams, one of Fairhaven's elders.) To register for this class, please contact in the church office (937-434-8627 ext. 155).

Marriage Enrichment

Enhance the way you relate to one another in your marriage! Take the Prepare/Enrich inventory and quickly identify your marriage strengths, and also the areas that need to improve. Then, you can meet with a facilitator couple for six – 1 ½ hour sessions, to learn and implement the skills needed for good communication, conflict resolution and a number of other areas that are vital in making your marriage healthy and rewarding. So, whether you have been married 6 months or 60 years, we highly recommend that you take this opportunity to invest in your marriage. You'll be glad you did. These community ministries are fully developed and exist to benefit the Fairhaven family across all our campuses. They are currently being hosted at our Centerville campus. As the Northmont church family grows, opportunities will develop for events being staffed and hosted at our Northmont campus. Until that time, we encourage you to register for these ministries at the Centerville campus office (937-434-8627).
