Community Groups

What are Community Groups? Often referred to as "small groups" or "cell groups" at other churches, Community Groups at Fairhaven consist of approximately 6-12 people who meet on a regular basis (2 – 4 times/month), usually in someone's home. Groups are coed, male, female, single or married, generational or intergenerational - it's your choice!

Top Ten Reasons To Join A Community Group

  • You're new to the church. Join with others to discover all that God has for you here.
  • You're not new to the church! Go deeper with God and others who want to connect, too.
  • You desire a closer walk with the Lord by studying His Word with others. Learn more about what God has for your life and who Jesus is, together.
  • Prayer partners! You desire to give and receive faithful support through prayer.
  • To be accountable to another believer. Help each other strive for obedience to God's Word in every area of life.
  • Breaking bread together (mmm!) Enjoy a time of fellowship around the dinner (or dessert) table.
  • To feel like you belong. Gain a sense of acceptance and unconditional love.
  • Lots of laughing and fun times together. Lighten up and realize that the Christian life can be one of abundant joy!
  • To have a safe place to go when life gets hard. Find people who will listen to your struggles yet keep them in strict confidence.
  • To give and receive the love of Christ. Stand amazed at how God uses your group in many lives!
