The Sonshiners minister in three senior adult living facilities in our area. They are composed of three teams that plan and conduct a monthly worship service in each facility.
In an effort to build deeper, more meaningful relationships, Sonshiners 101 are matched with individual residents in the various senior adult living facilities to minister in a more personal manner, one-on-one. There is basic training, and then each volunteer schedules a once a month visit with their assigned resident at mutually agreed times.
Similar to Sonshiners 101, V-Team members are individually assigned to church shut-ins. V-Team members are asked to visit their shut-in at least once a month and to provide a brief report that allows us to remain informed when there's a changing need.
