Be the man you were meant to be in every area of life! We welcome you to new friendships, opportunities to grow, and a chance to laugh with other men on the "Journey" of life. Our purpose is to see men be spiritually formed in Christ, through experiencing Fairhaven's five core purposes (Worship, Community, Equipping, Serving, and Outreach) in ways that are most effectively accomplished by being together as men.
Book study on UnChristian by David Kinnaman
September 7 – November 23
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” Christians would have done well to have taken Gandhi’s comments to heart because 75 years later his opinion has become the norm in America. According to research reported in the book UnChristian to discover why these negative perceptions exist, and consider practical ways to reverse them and positively contribute to our culture. Facilitated by Scott Foote. Books will be available at the first class for $15.
Living for God – Bible study on 1 and 2 Peter
September 7 – November 23 (For men under age 35)
These two books in the New Testament contain great instruction for young men. Holiness, family instruction, suffering, the Day of the Lord. The point of the study would be to challenge men firmly, yet encourage them to keep living their lives more and more for God. Facilitated by Eric Vanvlymen and Taylor Warren.
