Amazing! What better word could describe the Bible?
Between its pages are 66 books written by more than 40
authors over a period of 1600 years from 3 continents;
yet there is one message, one theme, one thread that
runs from Genesis to Revelation – God's redeeming love
for mankind. This unique series sequentially covers the
whole Bible – the theme, characters, events, time periods,
location, and purpose of each book. There is a "fast track"
reading option requiring just 20 minutes a day or a deeper
reading of each book as your time permits. Join us this fall
for the major prophets and early minor prophets – Isaiah
through Micah.

Come along for an insightful study of the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes. Sandra shatters preconceived notions about what Christ teaches in this address He delivered more than two thousand years ago. The Coffee Cup Bible Studies are patterned in such a way that they can be read during brief lulls in a woman's daily schedule. Scripture included in the workbook for convenient study when you can't carry a Bible.

Living Like You Belong to God
40 Minute Bible Study Kay & David Arthur Show Details
6 weeks: September 15 – October 20
Wednesdays 7:00-8:00 pm
Can others see that you belong to God? God calls us to a life of joy, obedience and trust. He calls us to be different from those around us. He calls us to be holy. Holiness is about pleasing God – living in such a way that it's clear you belong to Him. Come explore the beauty of holy living and see why true holiness and true happiness always go together. Join us for this 40 minute, no homework, Bible study on Wednesday nights.

For fathers who have the privilege of being the primary care-giver for growing children, this gathering provides fellowship and support for dads and occasional activities for dads and children together. Facilitated by Gary Gibson.
September 7 – November 23
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” Christians would have done well to have taken Gandhi’s comments to heart because 75 years later his opinion has become the norm in America. According to research reported in the book UnChristian to discover why these negative perceptions exist, and consider practical ways to reverse them and positively contribute to our culture. Facilitated by Scott Foote. Books will be available at the first class for $15.
September 7 – November 23 (For men under age 35)
These two books in the New Testament contain great instruction for young men. Holiness, family instruction, suffering, the Day of the Lord. The point of the study would be to challenge men firmly, yet encourage them to keep living their lives more and more for God. Facilitated by Eric Vanvlymen and Taylor Warren.
September 9 – December 16 The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. Facilitated by Steve Alexander.

Here are some things we will be doing... high ropes course, climbing tower, archery, filling our minds with God stuff, chilling out. Meet at Fairhaven: 5:45 pm on Friday, October 22. Come home: Noon on Sunday, October 24. Cost includes food, transportation, housing and ropes course.
