Our Mission is to encourage, strengthen and equip the people of Fairhaven Church to become effectively and personally involved in leading people of other nations into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
God is working in a mighty way all over the world. Thousands are becoming believers in Jesus Christ every day. Would you like to be a part of what God is doing in other countries?
Jesus Christ told us to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations." Fairhaven takes this command seriously. We are actively involved in advancing the Good News of Christ to other nations, and you can be a part of this exciting ministry.
Do you want to make an impact in the life of an elementary age child? Join our Fairhaven team and become a homework helper during the teacher supervised after school program at John F. Kennedy Elementary school on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 PM. For more details contact in the church office (937-434-8627 ext. 151).
This car donation program, through the Christian & Missionary Alliance, provides vehicles for missionaries on home assignment.
Would you like to correspond with and pray for one of our Global Staff on a regular basis? If so, you should adopt a Fairhaven missionary.
Often, Fairhaven Global Staff go on furlough to re-connect with their prayer and support teams. This fall we are happy to welcome back two Fairhaven missionary families serving in creative access countries ministering to the unreached people groups of the 10/40 window.
This simulation enables participants to analyze poverty from a variety of angles and to recognize and discuss the potential for change within their communities. It was designed to sensitize those who frequently deal with low-income families, as well as create a broader awareness of the realities of poverty among policy-makers, community leaders and others. At the conclusion of the simulation, participants will have the opportunity to dialogue about the implications of poverty.
Register NowOne hundred years ago in Dayton, people with wealth lived in the central city and those without lived on the edges of town. Today the pattern has reversed. Why? To get insight on this phenomenon, we will go on a guided van/bus tour with John Wilson, a history teacher who specializes in Cultural and Ethnic studies. John will give historical context to why the affluence has changed hands. The tour will consist of both urban and suburban communities in the Dayton area. We will also visit various organizations that serve inner city families. If you've ever wanted to be a part of serving in Dayton's inner city, this is a great way to get started.
Plan to meet in the Atrium at 8:30 AM, and we will enjoy a delicious lunch at an inner city restaurant.
Register NowInternational students from around the world are attending Wright State. These students often represent the brightest and the best of their countries and will return home to be tomorrow's leaders. Unfortunately, 75% of these students will never enter an American home during their years of study. Be a blessing to the nations by signing up to be an International Friends Partner. You will be paired with a local student that you can befriend, encourage and extend the hospitality of your home on special occasions. We have an immediate need of 30 Fairhaven friends to partner with new Wright State University students who have recently arrived from China to begin their studies this fall quarter. For more information, contact in the church office (937-434-8627 ext. 151).
Join us on the 2nd & 4th Mondays, 7:00-9:00 PM. This missions group does not meet at Fairhaven. For current meeting location please contact in the church office (937-434-8627 ext. 151).
The Alliance Women meet monthly, in Room 106/107, September through May at 11:00 AM. Following lunch a guest missionary will share about her life and ministry. Learn more.
For a taste of missions, you can spend several weeks in a foreign land. Experience strange food, languages and customs. Labor with resident missionaries to develop contacts and expand the work of evangelism.

Our Mission is to encourage, strengthen and equip the people of Fairhaven Church at all our campuses to become effectively and personally involved in leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Some of our outreach efforts are unique to Northmont and for others we combine our efforts across our campuses to leverage our resources for impacting the world for Jesus.
Jesus Christ told us to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations." Fairhaven takes this command seriously. We are actively involved in advancing the Good News of Christ to other nations, and you can be a part of this exciting ministry, both at Northmont and as we have opportunity to partner with the Centerville campus.

We collect food items for our on-site food pantry on the first Sunday of every month. Then, on every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM, we open the food pantry to the public for those who need it. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact the church office (937-836-1069).
