I am always with you.
Whirlwind of Life
In the face of danger and obstacles, God reminds us to be strong and courageous because he goes with us and he will never leave us or forsake us. As we survey the world around us we can feel alone – like the storm cloud above us is ours alone and follows us wherever we go. When we feel alone and singled out in trials, what is our hope? What does God say to us in times like these?
Taking Refuge in a Word from God:
“I am always with you.”
I know your trials and I hear your prayers. I am with you in the midst of your difficulties and you are not alone. In fact, I know your needs before you ask. No matter what you are facing, no matter how you may feel, I am with you and I will sustain you.
Our Firm Foundation
I am always with you. The Bible teaches that we have a union with God through our faith in Jesus Christ that assures us of God’s abiding presence. He will never leave us alone. We are “in” Christ and Christ is “in” us. Our union with God is so secure that the Bible says that there is nothing in heaven or earth, present or future, which can separate us from God’s love. He is not simply a God far off or one of past history or who will appear in the future. He is a God who is present. He acts at every point in the history and experience of his people, and we are his people. Whatever our situation or need, he is with us now and forever.
