The Amazing Collection: The Bible Book by Book

Amazing! What better word could describe the Bible? Between its pages are 66 books written by more than 40 authors over a period of 1600 years from 3 continents; yet there is one message, one theme, one thread that runs from Genesis to Revelation – God's redeeming love for mankind. This unique series sequentially covers the whole Bible – the theme, characters, events, time periods, location, and purpose of each book. There is a "fast track" reading option requiring just 20 minutes a day or a deeper reading of each book as your time permits. Join us this quarter for Chronicles through Song of Solomon.

Faithful, Abundant, True
Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer

Kay Arthur teaches from the book of Hebrews about God's faithfulness and challenges believers to be faithful in difficult times. Priscilla Shirer teaches from Ephesians 3:20-21 on God's abundance. A fundamental basis for every believer is the absolute reality that God can do whatever He chooses to do. God's ability empowers our faithfulness. Beth Moore teaches on the topic of discernment. In these difficult days it is absolutely essential that we learn to trust the Holy Spirit to enable us to determine what is true and what is false.

In this study you'll examine what the Bible says about suffering and why God allows it. Through the stories of many who persevered through times of testing, you'll discover how to find joy even when life seems unfair. You'll learn how to handle loss while glorifying God in the midst of your pain. And you'll find the peace that comes from trusting in the One whose strength is made perfect in your weakness. Join us for this 40 minute, no homework, Bible study on Wednesday nights.

Vertically Inclined: Climbing Higher with God
Mary Kassian

Most believers experience a life with a few highs and lows, ups and downs, and maybe an occasional mountaintop experience. This study is designed to show Christian women how, by tethering themselves more securely to Him, they can climb to greater spiritual heights. Participants will be challenged to develop an increased loyalty to Christ, examine their values, renew their determination, and take steps to enjoy Him more. Mary Kassian, who climbs the Canadian Rockies, brings a unique understanding of the difficulties of the journey and the thrill of going higher still!
