Worship & Fine Arts Ministry

It is our purpose at Fairhaven Church to worship Christ in every aspect of our lives, not just while we sing songs to Him. We see worship as our opportunity to "Love God Back." We also understand the importance to praise God in his sanctuary, as the psalmist says, and to sing to the Lord and praise His holy name. What an awesome opportunity we have to let our voices and instruments rise up as an aroma to Christ every weekend as we gather together.

Opportunities

Sanctuary Choir

Our 100 voice choir meets Thursdays evenings at 6:30 pm in the choir room and also leads worship on Sunday mornings from September to June.

Ascent Band & Singers

This auditioned worship team meets Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary and also leads worship at all weekend services on a rotational basis.

The Acoustic Gathering (T.A.G.) Orchestra

This auditioned orchestral group meets Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary and also leads worship on Sunday mornings from September to June.

Jazzy Brass

This brass band meets Thursday evenings when needed for worship specials.

Kidz FAM (Fine Arts Ministry)

Includes kids K-Grade 5, the Kid's Fine Arts Ministry meets Wednesday evenings at 5:45 pm in the welcome center and occasionally appears for Sunday worship and special events.

Tech Team

Consists of sound & lighting operators, videographers (camera/slideshow operators), the Tech Team meets Thursdays, and rotates for all weekend services.

Final Call (Drama Team)

The drama team occasionally presents skits on weekend services as well as for special events.

Jubilant Bells

This hand bell group meets Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the rehearsal hall and occasionally appears for Sunday morning worship.

The Middle School worship band meets Wednesdays at 5:00 pm in the Student Ministries Room for teaching & preparation for leading student worship.
